In 2006, the NSW State Electoral Commission conducted a "redistribution" of electoral boundaries. The redistribution changed the electorate of Gosford and created a new seat named "Terrigal".

In March 2007, I will was elected to the NSW Parliament for the new seat of Terrigal.

Suburbs in the seat of Terrigal are: Terrigal, Wamberal, Erina, Forresters Beach, Matcham, Holgate, Avoca, North Avoca, Copacabana, Erina Heights, Green Point, Saratoga, Davistown, Yattalunga, Kincumber, Kincumber South, Picketts Valley, MacMasters Beach, Bensville, Empire Bay, Daleys Point, St Huberts Island, Wagstaffe, Hardys Bay, Pretty Beach, Killcare and Killcare Heights.

The existing seat of Peats was renamed and became the new seat of Gosford. The new seat of Gosford will include suburbs such as Gosford (North, West and East), Springfield and all Peninsula suburbs.
